Kanye West expected to attend Inter Champions League clash against Atletico

Kanye West is expected to attend the Champions League Round of 16 first leg at San Siro, where Inter will host Atletico Madrid on Tuesday evening.

The US rapper shares a strong connection with Inter's fans, particularly the Curva Nord ultras, who were recently credited on songs from his album Vultures 1, released on February 10 in collaboration with Ty Dolla Sign.

Milan is a familiar city for West, who also chose Italy as the venue for his 2014 wedding with ex-wife Kim Kardashian.

West will be one of approximately 80,000 supporters at Giuseppe Meazza on Tuesday, with the stadium being sold out for the Atletico match. Additionally, around 3,000 Atleti supporters are expected to travel for the game.

The Champions League clash promises financial gains for Inter, with matchday revenue anticipated to reach nearly €9 million, encompassing ticket sales, television rights, and competition prize money, as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport.

In comparison, Inter's 2022-23 Champions League match against Benfica at the same stage yielded approximately €6.7 million for the club.

The presence of Kanye West and the high-stakes encounter against Atletico Madrid highlight the significance of the upcoming match for Inter, both in terms of fan engagement and financial returns.
